The APGAS VisionFree trade in energy resources is fundamentally important in ensuring energy security and reducing the risk of energy disruptions in the Asia-Pacific region.The vision of APGAS is to achieve a common understanding between government and industry, and between consumers and producers, in the APEC member economies on the actions necessary to ensure free and unhindered trade in natural gas in the APEC region. The key goal of APGAS is to enhance energy security by encouraging commercially sustainable cross-border natural gas trade in the APEC region. We welcome and encourage open and frank dialogue to ensure the implementation and continuation of practical measures to ensure that gas markets in the APEC region function efficiently.
